Getting Started

What is Go Wile?

Go Wile is a place-sharing app for passing restaurant and venue recommendations through people you trust. Unlike review platforms, places only reach you through your personal network — from someone you know, not an algorithm.

How do I get access?

Go Wile is currently in private beta. Join the waitlist on the homepage and we'll send an invite when a spot opens. You can also be invited directly by someone already on the app.

What does "your chain" mean?

When someone keeps a place, it travels forward to the people in their circle. Each place shows @origin → @sender — who originally found it and who passed it to you. The chain shows provenance, not a number.

PLACES

How do I keep or pass a place?

Swipe right to keep a place — the card turns green. Swipe left to pass — the card turns purple. You can also tap Keep or Pass buttons on the detail screen. The app is monochromatic at rest; color only appears during the swipe gesture.

What happens when I keep a place?

It's saved to your Places list. People in your circle will also receive it as a suggestion, attributed to you. If you add a note, your note travels with it.

What happens when I pass a place?

It's dismissed and shown at 32% opacity in your list. It does not travel further through your chain. You can reverse a pass at any time from your Places list.

Can I add a note to a place?

Yes. On the place detail screen, tap Add Note before or after keeping. Your note appears when the place arrives in someone else's chain.

PEOPLE & TRUST

What does trusting someone do?

Trusted people's suggestions appear first in your Places list — ahead of everyone else in your chain. Trust is a prioritization signal, not a gate.

How do I trust someone?

Go to People, find new requests under the New filter, and swipe right. The card turns green. Swipe left to dismiss — the card turns purple. Same gesture as places.

Can I undo a trust or dismiss?

Yes. Go to People, select the Trusted or Dismissed filter, and find the person. You can change their status at any time.
